Brady Aarron Noonkester was a fun loving 19 year old who had a heart of gold, an infectious smile that could light up the darkest room, and a real zest for living life to its fullest. He was extremely active in many sports: football, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and even tried his hand at track and field. Brady loved being outdoors. Many weekends were spent camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, and anything he could fit in between. Whether it be playing video games with his brothers, shooting hoops at the park with his friends, or sitting down with family for a meal, Brady loved it all! He was everyone’s “best friend”, a great little brother, a super big brother, and a loving son.
Even though Brady was your typical mischievous young man, he was always willing to stop and lend a hand where needed. Just before entering into his Senior year at Carroll Jr/Sr High School in Flora, Indiana, Brady made the choice to join the Indiana National Guard. He attended weekend drills throughout that year and was scheduled to leave for basic training at Ft. Sill, OK shortly after graduation. As a citizen soldier in the IN National Guard, Brady would be prepared to help his state and/or his country as needed.
To honor his memory, Brady’s Hope has been established to do just that – help others. Although Brady’s life on earth ended much too soon, he was a blessing to all who knew him. In his 19 short years Brady left a memorable mark upon our entire community.
